Ready, Set, Eagles!
Photo credit : Rich Bowers To learn more about this iconic species, its relationship with salmon, and how to take the best photos with whatever device you have, NSEA is hosting an Eagle Sighting and Photography Workshop on December 17 from 8am-12pm.
All ages and experience levels are encouraged to join the fun! This workshop is open to anyone that wants to learn more about eagles in our area and photography best practices. Learn basic tips for nature photography with your smartphone or point and shoot camera or get more familiar with your DSLR and the tools that can help capture that perfect far-away shot (the type of images you are able to capture will depend on the device you bring). After a short introduction at NSEA’s campus, we will jump on the shuttle for our field trip to the Nooksack River for a chance to see them in action and practice our photography skills!
Cost: To reduce barriers, we are offering this event for free and are asking for those that can to pay a donation of $15 per person to cover your cost (you can also opt to pay a little more to help cover those that need the free option). There is limited space on our shuttle, so save your spot now! Need to add instructions on how to pay?
We are grateful to partner with knowledgeable experts that are excited to share their passions with others:
