The NSEA Habitat Restoration Crew currently has three vehicles dedicated for their use.
We have three trailers, two tractors, and an RTV that need to be towed by large trucks. Many of our project sites are not easily accessed by 2wd, and they are not capable of towing. NSEA has increased the size of our restoration crew and currently we have four full time crewmembers with plans to hire a couple new crewmembers in the near future. However, before that happens, we will need to purchase another truck.
The IDEAL truck would be a late model 1-ton diesel 4x4 crew cab with an 8’ bed and under 100,000 miles. An extended cab would work also. If you or someone you know has a similar truck they are interested in selling please let us know.
We have budgeted around $40,000 for this purchase. We have currently raised just over $20,000.
